We finally have the keys to our new farm and house!
Still located in Ridgefield, WA.

We were lucky enough to find another place with a gorgeous tree line in the back for llama photos.
The place has several outbuildings, in need of blackberry brush removal.

Plenty of flat, fertile pasture for the llamas.

We are still offering some wonderful llamas for sale in an effort to finance some of the projects we will be working on in the coming months.

We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of "Roxie", a superstar producer.  Those who show in the NW have seen her handiwork clean up in the show ring.  We are very grateful to Ron and Gail Wilkinson for letting go of this once in a lifetime producer.  We can't wait to see what she does here.  She is currently bred to Slick 50, who is likely the best son to date of  The Slickmeister, who produced some great animals for us previously.  After she has this cria she will be headed back down to Bend to be bred to High Interest one more time.
Look below for some of her prior production.

Knockout male babies

We have had 4 gorgeous baby males this year, and I'm not quite sure what to do about it.  In a perfect world I would love to keep all 4, but with Night Fury and Arcade Fire ready to breed next summer and all of our established boys hitting babies out of the park I can probably keep one at the most.  They each bring their own set of strengths, and a fun mix of bloodlines, as each male comes from a different sire.
Which one would you keep?

In my spare time (hah) I have decided to take on a blog here at mumfordllamas.com.  Time will tell if I truly have the ability to keep it going with all of my other kettles on the fire, but we'll see how it goes!
